Abstract

Most of the Flash community knows about AIR
(Adobe Integrated Runtime) and it's features. This session will give you a deep-dive on the main API features and workflows. It will take a tool-agnostic approach and will focus instead on the code needed to build real applications.
You'll come out of this with a bunch of example code and new ideas about how AIR can make your projects and workflows even more effective.

Bio

Serge Jespers (born, raised and living in Belgium) has been working with Flash for over 10 years now. Five of which he worked for the largest media company in Belgium doing online projects for TV-shows like Idols, Big Brother, Miss Belgium, and more.

Since early 2004 he's been an Adobe certified freelance Flash designer/developer. He's one of those guys who thinks you can do anything with Flash. From displaying SMS-messages on TV to motion tracking museum installations to mobile live traffic updates to personalized Flash video projects.

March 2007, Serge joined the Adobe Benelux team as their business development manager for Creative Pro.
November 1st 2007, he joined the platform evangelist team and is now spreading the word about AIR, Flash and Flex all over Europe , Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
