At the bottom of any digitally generated image live the pixels - innocuous and insignificant when you encounter them alone, but impressive and earth-shattering once they flock together as a herd. Mario Klingemann is one of the world's most prominent experts when it comes to taming pixels. He knows the secrets of how to gain their trust so they will follow him blindly even in the darkest bitmaps or through the thickest blur. In his session he will share some of the secrets and techniques that he discovered in his ongoing research about these fascinating creatures. Mario Klingemann aka Quasimondo is an explorer and discoverer in constant pursue of the cutting edge. "Here be dragons" marks the spot on the map where you will probably find him chasing new challenges. Code is his vessel and beauty his ultimate destination, yet on the way he doesn't mind to slay a few problematic monsters and save desparate virgins in need. You never know where he is right now, but whereever you come to his footprints will be there somewhere.
Besides creating computational art and speaking on international design and technology conferences he is a consultant and developer that helps companies to find solutions for challenging problems or build techologically advanced rich internet applications.
