Low Budget Videos on Heavy Rotation

Almost by accident, Flash (along with Wacom) has helped revolutionize the 2D Animation industry within five years. Low costs and the easy and direct approach on animation fueled the movement that is now known as paperless animation. Alex actually learned the basics of animation by messing around with earlier versions of Flash. In 2005 he made his first commissioned music videos for the pop band “ich + ich” (“du erinnerst mich an liebe”, “dienen”, “umarme mich” ). After having success with these first pieces, many projects followed. Alex tells us how Flash helped him get started in the animation business.

Bio

Alex currently studies communication design in Berlin and wants to make his diploma by the end of this year. He specializes in animation and motion graphics and plans on receiving his diploma by the end of this year. While studying, he works as a freelance illustrator, film maker and flash designer.
