Benjamin Herholz
BILD Page*1Girl (workshop will be held in English)
An innovative campaign for an underwear label linking
a product website and a digital installation in a shop window.
The shop window comes to life: in it is a model in underwear as a real-life holographic
projection. The model can interact with the passers-by — from just waving through
to downright seduction. The public standing at the shop window is filmed by webcam
and their reactions transmitted to the website seite1girl.de. The website is
the 'control centre' for the whole event: users there control the projection
and decide what the model should do next with its spectators. This is how a dialogue
is generated between website users and real-world passers-by on the street.
The installation is now offline but the highlights can be seen in archive mode
at: www.seite1girl.de..
